Bow Tie!

A bow tie (or four)!  The middle looks like it's folded.  Had seen it done, and had to try it to see if I could do it.  Kind of cute.  I'm trying to decide what I want to make.  Like make four more of these, and connect to make a table topper, or should I go bigger and make a quilt.  If I do decide to make a quilt, I'll have to get more of the light material.  Have about 3 yards (more than plenty) of the dark material.  But then again, if I want more color, maybe I should use more scraps and make the bows all different colors.  That would be cute too.  I'll post again when I've got something more going.

Have a great evening!

Nice. I like the pattern. I can't tell their size from the photo, but how about making placemats?

That is so cute and well done.
I think a runner with different colored bows would be cute. However a quilt is always a nice keep sake.
Let us know what you decide.
Have a nice day.

Keep in mind I have no color coordination but if the entire quilt was made of just the dark and light, would it look sophisticated or dull? If you put it on a bed with colored pillows, like, red, that would be dramatic. What if you kept solid light squares in between blocks of the bowtie but you used another primary color in other blocks of bowtie and alternated them - - - like royal blue or even green or red? Don't use all those colors - - - just maybe pick two that coordinate and compliment. I like the table runners and potholders ideas, too. Hmmmmm - - - potholder giveaway?!!!!
